WEEKLY REFLECTION 25/8/2025 to 29/8/2025 Monday to Friday  This week of my internship was a blend of academic responsibilities, classroom observations, and cultural celebrations. It was a valuable period where I gained more confidence in handling students, understanding their learning needs, and participating in school activities. A major part of the week was focused on the 2nd Term Examination . I assisted teachers in distributing question papers, maintaining discipline during the exam, and helping with invigilation duties. Through this, I learned how exam procedures are organised in schools and how teachers ensure a fair and calm atmosphere for students. Observing students during the exams also helped me understand their level of preparation, concentration, and exam behaviour. Another highlight of the week was the Onam Celebration . The school was filled with a festive mood, and students actively participated in various programmes. The making of Pookalam (floral decoration), Ona...

WEEKLY REFLECTION 18/8/2025 to 22/8/2025 Monday to Friday  This week of my internship was vibrant and meaningful, offering a blend of regular classroom activities and special school events. Each day provided valuable opportunities to observe, teach, interact with students, and become more familiar with the school environment. I continued with my routine classroom responsibilities. I observed classes handled by different teachers and learned new strategies related to questioning techniques, classroom management, and student engagement. These observations helped me understand how to maintain discipline while still keeping students motivated and involved in learning activities. I also handled substitution periods throughout the week. These periods gave me hands-on experience in managing classes independently. I assisted students with their ongoing classwork, clarified their doubts, and maintained classroom order. This allowed me to develop confidence, patience, and quick decision-maki...

The celebration created a sense of pride and togetherness among everyone present. Overall, the week helped me gain more confidence in classroom management and teaching, while also giving me the joy of witnessing the students’ active participation in an important national event.

WEEKLY REFLECTION 4/8/2025 to 8/8/2025 Monday to Friday  This week of my internship was a meaningful learning journey that helped me understand the practical side of teaching more deeply. Each day taught me something new about classroom interactions, lesson organization, and the responsibilities of a teacher. At the beginning of the week, I was mainly observing classes and understanding the flow of teaching. Watching experienced teachers helped me see how they introduced topics, connected ideas, maintained discipline, and encouraged students to think. Their way of handling the class with patience and clarity inspired me to adopt similar strategies in my own teaching. As the week progressed, I got more opportunities to take classes. While teaching, I tried to use clear explanations, examples, and questions to make the lessons meaningful. I noticed that students were more responsive when the activities were simple and relatable. Some classes were easy to manage, while others re...

WEEKLY REFLECTION 28/7/2025 to 1/8/2025 Monday to Friday  This week of my school internship was enriching and helped me grow both as a learner and a teacher. Every day brought new experiences that strengthened my understanding of classroom teaching and school functioning. Throughout the week, I observed how teachers planned their lessons, organised learning activities, and handled student behaviour. These observations gave me a clearer idea of how theory is applied in real classroom situations. I realised the importance of clarity in instructions, timely reinforcement, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. During my substitution periods, I had opportunities to manage classes independently. These moments helped me practise discipline management, communication skills, and student engagement. I learned to address students patiently and assist them with their doubts while ensuring the class remained orderly. This boosted my confidence in handling a class on my own. In my teac...
